Introducing: The Gerald Arpino Foundation
The Gerald Arpino Foundation was established by Mr. Arpino on October 3, 2008, just prior to his death. The Foundation has the sole right to lease and teach Gerald Arpino and Robert Joffrey ballets. Gerald Arpino was the owner of both his and Robert Joffrey’s ballets. We offer rights to perform both Arpino and Joffrey ballets, to qualified members of the dance community. The fees for these rights and royalties are set to be within the reach of artist/dancers the world over. We will select, train and oversee all aspects of both teaching and producing of the ballets so they are in the style that the choreographers demanded.
The Foundation will promote the ballets and the legacy of these men both through their ballets and through educational means such as lectures and workshops and will use media and interest groups to further this aim.
The Foundation will apply any profits it makes for grants and scholarships that will further the art of choreography.
For more information about The Gerald Arpino Foundation or leasing the rights of a ballet, please contact Harriet Ross at (312) 739 – 0120 x1085 or hross@joffrey.org.
