Winning Works

Overview

We would like to thank all of the applicants for submitting their applications and talented works. The choreographers that were chosen for the Choreographers of Color Awards 2012 are Bennyroyce Royon, Carlos dos Santos, and Ray Mercer. The three winning choreographers and Academy Artisic Director, Alexei Kremnev showcased their creative works in an exciting performance entitled Winning Works: Choreographers of Color Awards 2012. The Winning Works performance was held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 4:00pm at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance at Millennium Park. There was also a post-performance discussion and reception, moderated by Ramon Rivera-Servera.
