The Joffrey Ballet held its Annual Spring Gala on Friday, April 29th at the Auditorium Theater at Roosevelt University. The Joffrey Ballet has become one of the world's most revered and recognizable organizations in America and one of the top ballet companies in the world. With tickets priced at $600 a person and $6,000 to $25,000 a table, the Gala raised $1.3 million for the company. The evening began with a cocktail reception, followed by the event’s first live auction. The guests then received a private program featuring selections from Artistic Director Ashley C. Wheater, the crowd-favorite Exelon Strobel Touring Troupe, and new choreography from Creative Force. The night ended at the Palmer House Hilton, where guest enjoyed cocktails, dinner and dancing to music by the City Lights Orchestra.
