Smith brings to the company extensive experience in non-profit arts communications in the Chicago area and across the country.  As the Chief Marketing Officer, a role new to The Joffrey Ballet, Smith will be responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution, including brand development, analysis of purchase trends and other market research, concept and product development, advertising, media planning, direct marketing and promotional planning.
