What: The enchanting evening will
feature entertainment for children and adults alike, a traditional
family-style meal, and of course, a thrilling performance of Robert
Joffreys The Nutcracker. The evenings Co-Chairs, Suzette Bross Bulley
and Odele Desmuke Hawkins, both Womens Board members, have created an
evening of family fun with an environmentally friendly focus. Chicago
event designer Jody Elting has brought her imagination to life, with a
magical, yet functional design theme. The variety of green features
include a 12-ft recycled water bottle tree, recycled Birch trees as
creation station separators, no cut flowers as design elements, locally
sourced poultry and vegetable products, and many green features specific
to the Palmer House Hilton. Tickets to the event include a performance
ticket for December 11 at either the matinee or evening performance of
The Nutcracker at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University.
Transportation via trolley will be available from the theatre to the
Palmer House for dinner guests convenience.
