Alison Rootberg

Alison Rootberg is an educator and artist whose primary focus is in dance, yoga and technology. She completed her 200 hour yoga certification in 2011. Alison also has her MFA in Dance and Integrated Media from the California Institute of the Arts. Additionally, she earned a BFA in Dance and a BS in Inter-Arts and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her work has been presented throughout the United States, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

 

Since returning to Chicago in 2010, she has taught classes at CorePower Yoga, Jewish Child and Family Services, Lurie Children's Hospital, Roosevelt University and in the Chicago Public Schools with the Chicago Ballet Center, Chicago Lights, The Joffrey Ballet, Mindful Practices and River North Chicago Dance Company.
