Elizabeth Hansen



Elizabeth Hansen joined The Joffrey Ballet as a company member in 2006. A dancer since the age of 3, Ms. Hansen received training at The Dance Center/Brandywine Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School before going on to dance as a company member with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Brandywine Ballet Theatre and Pennsylvania Ballet.


Before joining The Joffrey, Ms. Hansen performed as Mina in Dracula, the Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy (among other roles) in The Nutcracker, and danced in ballets such as Carmina Burana, Cinderella, Don Quixote, Cleopatra, Serenade, and Sleeping Beauty, among others.


Her hobbies include reading, tennis, and playing the piano.
