Jennifer Robinson



Jennifer Robinson, a native of Elizabeth City NC, received her early training at Virginia Ballet Theatre and the Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts. She completed high school in Pittsburgh, PA through Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School’s Schenley Program and attended Summer Intensives at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, San Francisco Ballet School, and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. After high school Jennifer spent a year in the Professional Division of Pacific Northwest Ballet School before joining Tulsa Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet. In 2002, Jennifer joined Ballet West in Salt Lake City, UT where she danced until her retirement in 2011. Some of Jennifer’s favorite performances include Ulysses Dove’s Red Angels, Antony Tudor’s Offenbach in the Underworld at the Edinburgh Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, and George Balanchine’s Serenade at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and at the Chicago Dancing Festival.
