Katherine Bruno



Katherine Bruno, a native of Chicago, trained at the Salt Creek Ballet School under the direction of Sergey Kozadayev, and Zhanna Dubrovskaya. She continued her training with Randall Newsom. She danced many principal roles with the Salt Creek Ballet including Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. She has danced seasonally with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens de Montreal, and Elememts Contemporary Ballet. Katherine joined The Joffrey Ballet in 2010. She has enjoyed dancing in The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Age of Innocence. In addition, she was thrilled to perform in the world premiere of Incatations, choreographed by Val Caniparoli.
