Natalie Rothgeb



Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Natalie Rothgeb began her training with Janet Carleton and went on to study at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, ballet tech of ohio and Indiana University.  She had the privilege of studying under many  teachers, most notably Alexei Kremnev, Anna Reznik, and Claudia Rudolf Barrett, and spent summers working with coaches such as Bolshoi Master Teacher Aleksander Bondarenko, and Larisa Sklyanskaya.   

After pursuing post-graduate studies in kinesiology and human anatomy, Ms. Rothgeb completed the Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) comprehensive teacher training in Pilates in 2008.  Since then, she has completed continuing education programs focused on Pilates for dancers, scoliosis, spinal conditions and shoulder mechanics.  She has been teaching Pilates in Chicago since 2008 and recently spent a year working alongside physical therapists in San Francisco, developing post rehabilitation exercise programs for those recovering from spinal injuries.  

With over a decade of teaching experience, Ms. Rothgeb is adept at training students of all ages and skill levels, and enjoys instilling a passion for the art in her students.  She taught throughout the greater Cincinnati area, was previously on faculty at the School of Ballet Chicago, and began teaching for the Joffrey Academy of Dance in 2010.
