Rebecca Aleman



Rebecca Aleman has trained with Homer Bryant, Lou Conte, Gloria Farr, Gus Giordano, Joel Hall, Jimmy Payne Sr., Edo Sie, Eddie and Maria Torres and studied at the School of Chicago Ballet and Ruth Page. As a master instructor in the field of visual and performing arts, she teaches amateur through professional levels to children, teens and adults.  Ms. Aleman has extensive background in Traditional Latin, Jazz, Mambo, Tango, Salsa, Flamenco, Tap, Contemporary, Broadway, Modern, International and American Style Ballroom Smooth and Latin and other dance genres.  Along with Ms. Aleman’s extensive dance background, she choreographs for film and television and designs stage and costume.  Ms. Aleman teaches for The Joffrey Ballet’s Community Engagement Programs and instructs at the HHW Performing Arts and After School Matters. She has taught a dance workshop for the Hands Together, Heart to Art Program through the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. She is the founder of Pasos Latino Dance Company in Chicago and coordinates community programs in the visual and performing arts and special events internationally.
