Bridge Program

Overview

The Joffrey Ballet’s Bridge Program is a ballet program designed for Chicago Public School students in grades 1 and 2, with a goal of offering students scholarships to study with the Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of the Joffrey Ballet. Through structured dance training, the Bridge Program provides students with a solid foundation in ballet and builds on their self-management skills while expanding their social-emotional learning and in areas such as respect, teamwork, and discipline. Students who are selected to continue their training at the Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet have the opportunity to perform in the Black Box Theater at Joffrey Tower.
